7. Document Hazard 4
Climatic Justice is a community-centered initiative that documents climate-related hazards and their impacts on vulnerable populations to advance climate justice, resilience, and inclusive development. The project amplifies the voices and lived experiences of communities disproportionately affected by climate change, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, indigenous communities, and other marginalized groups.
Through evidence gathering, community storytelling, participatory research, and advocacy, the project seeks to identify climate risks, highlight inequalities in climate impacts, and promote locally driven solutions. By documenting environmental hazards such as floods, droughts, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation, the project generates evidence that informs policy, strengthens community preparedness, and supports climate-responsive decision-making.
The project is guided by the belief that climate justice can only be achieved when all people have equal opportunities to participate in climate action, contribute to solutions, and benefit from sustainable development. Through collaboration with communities, government agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners, the project works toward building a safe, resilient, and environmentally sustainable society for present and future generations.
